It was founded in 1913 by International Motorcycling Federation, based in Geneva, Switzerland and has been going ever since As many as 50 countries and 550 athletes participate in this event It’s between 683 miles and 838 miles long It’s the Olympics for motorcycle racing. Previously called International Six Day Trials changed in 1980 History

  8. Sponsors make thousands of dollars by sponsoring certain countries' teams/individual people For example if Kawasaki sponsored the US and the US won the ISDE, everyone would want to buy Kawasaki motorcycles Significance thebikerzone.com

  9. While there is no exact number it is evident that thousands go to the event each year. Money maker for the home country because of the surge of people that go there People go there for vacation(Hotels,tours,etc) Significance
