Future tense – I will do…. The future is used to describe things we will do. This a quite a nice tense as there is only one set of endings for all 3 types of verbs. You need to remember, however, that endings are added on to the infinitive, which is unusual when forming tenses in Spanish.

Examples Después de mis exámenes, iré a España After my exams, I will go to Spain Cenaremos a las ocho We will have dinner at 8 o’clock ¡La fiesta será estupenda! The party will be great! En el futuro comprarán una casa en Francia In the future they will buy a house in France
Future tense – Irregular verbs There are a few common irregular verbs in the future tense, that is to say that you do not add endings onto the infinitive, but onto a slightly different stem.
