Credit Transfer Scheme at MUIC for Inbound Students • Registration • Exchange students will receive a list of courses offered each trimester in advance. • Students will email their list of desired classes for the Pre-Registration Process • Pre-registration will guarantee a seat in the selected classes. • The standard course load per trimester is 4 courses, which is equivalent to 16 credits (one subject = 4 credits). • All courses must be approved by the home university in order to transfer credits back.

Credit Transfer Scheme at MUIC for Inbound Students • Grading System • The grading system at MUIC follows the American system. • Our 4-credit trimester hour is the same as a 3-hour semester class. • There are 44 lecture hours per class plus the final exam. • Each class meets 4 hours per week. • Credit Transfer • MUIC Transcript will be sent to the home university within one month after the end of the trimester. • Credit transfer will be done by the home university.
