Paracentral (Tegmental) Superior Midbrain Syndromes(Claude’s and Benedikt’s syndromes) • Contralateral • ataxia with tremor (red nucleus) ± hemichorea (subthalamic nucleus) • Ipsilateral • III fascicular palsy • Artery • Paramedian perforators of terminal basilar, or • Interpeduncular branches of Posterior Cerebral Artery
