What’s the…..? • MSL’s- Final Exams • SAT-College Entrance Exam (4yr- College) • ACT-College Entrance Exam (4 yr-College) (mandatory as an 11th grader) • PSAT-Practice SAT (optional) • The PLAN-Sort of like the Pre or Practice ACT with an Interest Inventory-(mandatory as 10th grader) • ASVAB-Military & Interest Inventory (If you are interested in the military) • WorkKeys-Earn National Career Readiness Certificate

NC Scholars Program • Similar to Future Ready Core Requirements • English – 4cr • Math- 4cr • Science- 3cr (Biology, Earth & Environmental & Chemistry or Physics) • Social Studies- 4cr • Health/PE- 1cr • 6 Electives- (2-World Language; 4- Concentration/Cluster) • 2 Higher Level Courses (weighted 5 &/or 6pts.) • Overall GPA- unweighted 3.5 • @ least 23 credits and Graduation Project
NCVPS(North Carolina Virtual Public School) • On-line courses that are not offered on campus • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined • Must be in good academic standing
Career & College Promise(Dual Enrollment) • Allows Juniors & Seniors to take College/”Trade” Courses @ Coastal Community College for free • Must have a 3.0 GPA • If you are interested in College Transfer (2 or 4yr College Diploma), must demonstrate college readiness
SAT Scholarship: To be eligible for the scholarship you must have the following by January of your senior year: • Weighted GPA of 3.5 • SAT-Combined scores for Math and Reading of 1100 or better OR ACT score of 23 or better • Community Service/Volunteer Hours 75hrs.=$500.00 100hrs.=$1000.00 Log Sheets must be turned in to Mrs. Baker More info can be found on the school website http://southwest.nc.och.schoolinsites.com/
