ESSENTIAL • Network Rail’s core business is selling train paths to Train Operators • 90% of Network Rail’s revenue stream comes from ‘selling’ train paths) • TOC core business is providing services for customers whether passenger or freight INVESTMENT • The training of Operational Planners within the Railway industry is vital as we seek to use computer driven tools to do the basics.IMPERATIVE • We achieve our aims by sharing each others skills, expertise and ideas to enable each other to improve.
