Information on left handers • 10% of the world’s population is left handed • Being left handed is not part of the hand it is part of the brain • Left handed people use the right side of their brain • Males are 1 ½ times more likely to be left handed then females
Information on left handers • If you are RR or Rr you are right handed • If you are rr you have no preference • Left handed baseball players are called South Paws
Disadvantages • Left handed people approximately live 9 years less than right handed people • Stuttering and dyslexia occur more in left handed people • Left-handedness causes carpel tunnel • They are more likely to have allergies than right handed people
Disadvantages • Left handed people are more likely to be alcoholics than right handed people • They get more migraines than right handed people • More than likely they won’t be able to roll your tongue • They have trouble with scissors and binders
Advantages • Left handed people recover from strokes faster than right handed people • They also see underwater better • Left handed people are proven to be better at tennis, baseball, and fencing
