Goals for Electronic Viewbook Project • Web-native (not PDF) • Must load quickly • Searchable • And ability to track search key words and terms • Ability to measure hits • Pages viewed • Days and times • frequency • Must keep with UAH “Brand”
Mobular Solution • Web-based • Interactive • Multi-browser compatible • Much quicker to load than PDF • Looks Identical to print piece • Usage Reports included • Can be easily e-mailed and tracked • Immediately respond to inquiries
Limitations and Issues • Must be connected to internet for initial download or viewing • Internet viewing subject to speed of ISP • Technology includes optional email tracing • May introduce privacy concerns • Cost prohibitive if not widely used • E-mail distribution has high failure rate
