Introduction to Compass Capital Corporation About Compass Compass is an operating lessor with in-house financial, legal, and technical expertise Compass Capital Corporation was founded in 1991 to acquire, finance, manage, and remarket major capital assets including commercial aircraft, rolling stock, warehousing and distribution facilities, marine vessels and other long-lived assets. We purchase these assets with or without leases or in conjunction with sale and leaseback transactions. Our professionals are experienced in all facets of the operating lease business including equipment finance, legal, technical, and remarketing. Compass has completed equipment transactions with a combined original equipment cost exceeding $3,000,000,000. Compass has purchased, managed or remarketed over 150 commercial aircraft and 30 aircraft engines including wide and narrow-body commercial jets, turboprops, and aircraft engines on lease to major airlines in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Compass is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT). Compass also owns a portfolio of railroad rolling stock of over 3,000 covered hopper cars, tank cars, boxcars, flat cars, coal hoppers, woodchip gondolas and log cars on lease to railroads and industrial users throughout North America. In addition, Compass has owned interests in container ships, power generating facilities, and commercial and industrial real estate. We also advise institutional investors on the placement, management and remarketing of lease investments and arrange lease financings on behalf of selected clients. Compass has financed over $5,000,000,000 in OEC Owned and managed assets include jet and turboprop aircraft and engines, rolling stock, commercial real estate and marine cargo
