HOW WERE 50 MILLION WOMEN EXTERMINATED FROM INDIA’S POPULATION? • Millions were eliminated through sex-selective abortions since the 1970s. • However millions of girls and women have been killed after birth in India only because of their gender – Killings that Diana Russell has called FEMICIDES.
