This study explores how the process of grossing impacts the daily lives of residents in medical settings, focusing on the dissection and examination of food specimens received from Second Cup. A baked good resembling a breast with cherry filling was dissected without weighing or inking, providing insight into the residents' experience. The almond-flavored specimen was chewy, soft, and pink, offering a unique look at how gross descriptions are utilized in medical practice.
