TheAustralian Pipelines and Gas Association Ltd ADMINISTRATION/EVENTS OFFICER The Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) is a dynamic industry association representing more than 400 active and enthusiastic members. APGA is seeking a highly motivated, creative, customer-service oriented person who has initiative, enjoys learning new tasks and works well as part of a team. If you would like to join our small, professional secretariat in this Canberra-based role, you will be responsible for: Management of APGA’s events including bookings, promotional material, registrations and invoicing. These events, held in the capital cities, attract from 80 to 400 participants, depending on the location. Management of the annual exhibition, including liaison with exhibitors and suppliers and coordination during the event. The exhibition is part of the Annual Convention, which attracts approximately 800 participants. Secretarial and administration support. This is an interesting position with plenty of opportunity for a self-starter with initiative and who likes to be challenged. It is a multi-tasking role that requires high- level administrative, organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, databases and basic HTML, with the drive and imagination that demonstrates innovative use of the programs. Previous experience in event management would be highly regarded. A salary in the range of $60,000 to $65,000 plus superannuation and bonuses will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
