Including online advertising services, Google is a hugely​​popular​​search​​engine​​all​​over​​the​​world.   2. Being such a big platform Google keeps releasing updates and it helps google to be more popular because with every update Google rubs out the errors or bugs. Google launched Google pack in 2005 but it was later discontinued in 2011 due to some serious issues. Google did a major change in Google's local search and provided a new way of listing local businesses​​in​​search​​results. Google packs are also known as the Map Pack or the Snack Pack, you might not have heard about it but you probably have come across it a lot of times​​while​​using​​Google’s​​search​​engine. Google first launched pack 7 where users use to get top 7 search results on the first page and now Google has released pack 3 where users will get only 3 top search results. That is not it Google also has altered the business details, rather than showing the phone numbers it will now show the​​business​​addresses​​with​​working​​hours.

As per google in the pack 7, the last 4 results were not getting much traffic and the main reason behind this major update is the Pack 7 was too large to fit onto one page on mobile devices. While the mobile apps usage was growing this​​was​​becoming​​the​​biggest​​drawback​​of​​Google​​pack​​7. Hence google came up with a great update excluding all the bugs that are local pack 3 and it seems going well with all the mobile devices. Google understood the user’s requirement on time and took a right decision by implementing​​this​​pack​​3​​update. When Google got to know about the mobile apps trend and the constant growth of ​Mobile App Development Companies in USA it decided to make​​the​​search​​engine​​more​​specific​​for​​the​​mobile​​devices. With this latest update, Google wants the best search results and the best experience for all the users. It will be too early to give an opinion about the latest​​update​​but​​so​​far​​it​​looks​​pretty​​well.
