Vision • The vision of the NRC is to create a model for communication, innovation, conflict resolution, service response, neighborhood stability and University operation through a spirit of mutual regard and respect for all individuals in their living, learning and work environments. (Approved 12/10/08) • The mission of the NRC is to build positive relationships among the City of Davenport, St. Ambrose University and the neighbors directly surrounding the main campus toward management of the University’s growth and improvement of the quality of life for the surrounding neighborhoods. (Approved 12/10/08) Mission

SAU Facilities Planning Project • Fall – information gathering – met with NRC • January – initial design thoughts – met with neighborhood leadership • March – will provide updated design thoughts • April – plan submitted to Board of Trustees • Working with as a 2020 projection (10YR Look) • Full scope likely not realized in 10 years

SAU Enrollment Projections (2020) • Working Enrollment Projections – 4250 (3625) • Comprising 2750 UG, 1000 G, and 500 ACCEL • Currently (2575 UG, 775 G, 275 ACCEL) • Increase to UG will occur via two initiatives: • Maintaining retention rates at 80% • Slight new student enrollments over next 10 years Graduate students will be evening/on-line ACCEL students are part-time and @ 54th Street

SAU Facilities Planning cont. • Likely propose first phase this Spring • New Residence Hall – appx. 200 beds • Likely house sophomores - seniors • Location undetermined • Parking study recommendations pending • Need for additional spaces being reviewed • Parking management policies also being reviewed • Community meeting once process is finalized to review residence hall proposal

SAU/City Water Mangmt Project • Project will commence mid-May • Designed to capture rain water & reduce flooding • Series of holding tanks for slow release • Designed to ecologically disperse water • Will not simply push downhill • Additional 48-inch overflow pipe(s) • Parking replaced with net loss of 10 • Designs consistent with new City guidelines • Completion date in early August

Assistive Technology House Located at 2126 Brown Street • Expansion of lab serving since 2000 • Community resources to professionals, families and organizations to embrace safety, independence and functionality • House will be a training center • Display home adaptations and modifications • Only external will be new deck and ramp • Access by appointment only
