  6. Get up to Speed • If you struggle in a specific area don’t be afraid to get help in it • Take advantage of tutoring and study/help sessions

  7. EXPLORE test • Test put together by ACT to provide insight to your academic strengths and weaknesses. • Test format:

  8. Explore & Enjoy • Find your passion and the subjects/activities that you like • Post Secondary Information Nights • Gear Up, Upward Bound, Talent Search • Research Choices after high school • 2 year schools - Certificate Programs • 4 year schools - Military • Employment

Success Curriculum for2011 & After Graduates • To be eligible, you need: • 4 years of math to include: Algebra 1, Geometry, & Algebra 2 • 4 years of approved science courses • 3 years of approved social studies courses • 4 years of language arts (English) • 2 years of the same foreign language* • Work with your counselor to make sure you will meet the requirements!!! • * For Hathaway Opportunity level, must meet foreign language proficiencies; 2 years not required
