Introduction About RAS Exam Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam which is among one of the best recruitment processes of the Indian Government or State Government which includes respective positions of the government sector department like deputy secretary, additional district magistrate, joint secretary, deputy commissioner, special secretary, head of departments, principal secretaries, chief secretary etc. The recruitment to RAS and other state and Rajasthan Sub-ordinate Services is made through an exam RAS/RTS Competitive Exam organized by the RPSC.

RAS Exam Pattern Scheme of examination: The Combined Competitive Examination will be held in two main stages- Preliminary Examination Main Examination (i) Preliminary examination : The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper on the subject specified below, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to Main Examination. Subject - General Knowledge & General Science Maximum Marks - 200 Time - Three hours

  4. (ii) Main examination: (a) The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be 15 times the total approximate number of vacancies. If you qualify the preliminary round after competitor will eligible for sit in the next round which is RPSC Mains. Aspirants should clear the Mains exam to face the interview and personal interview has also weight age of 100 Marks. Let us have a glance at RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2018. (b) The written examination will consist of the following four papers which will be descriptive/analytical. A candidate must take all the papers listed below which will also consist of question paper of brief, medium, long answer and descriptive type questions. The standard of General Hindi and General English will be that of Sr. Secondary level. The time allowed for each paper shall be 3 hours.
