THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!! What other materials could you use?? -Fabric -Yarn -Leaves -Buttons -Found Objects What other things can you turn your parts into? You can also cut into the plaster casts!!!
How the project will be GRADED…Plaster Cast body sculpturesPart 2- 2D Product (Contents): • Decorate and adorn your plaster cast body parts using a minimum of 2 body parts • Sculpture must include at least 2 additives, which may include a prop, or your own built structure or form • Sculpture must convey a theme or idea that you are trying to get the viewer to understand …you will have to explain later!!! What is you influence? Your message? • Must have 2well thought out sketch ideas in your journal before you begin!
Process (Craftsmanship): • Sculpture must convey a well planned out design and structure • Choices of materials to decorate from the following list, must use a minimum of two mediums: paint, markers, fabric/material, yarn, paper, collage, henna/dye, beads, found objects, sand painting, jewelry/beads, clothing, please talk with me about other options! • Keep it neat, no sloppy technique!!!
Studio time: • Stayed on task • Clean up!!! You will not leave to wash your hands until the whole room is cleaned • Worked continuously throughout the class period • Make up any missed days: That means excused or unexcused, 3 tardies = 1 absence
