Implementation Update - General • Implementation has seen an increase in activity and requests from Data Sharing Partnerships as they become ready to connect to the eCare Framework – this activity is set to increase in intensity in the next 6 months; • Olm and Anite Programme Boards being re-established; • Increased involvement in the Appliance project to ensure technical aspects dovetail into implementation; • Implementation processes continue to be reviewed and updated with Atos Origin as part of move towards service delivery model; • Implementation Planning Day 3 to be held in December; • New Forms Definition Process in place; • Close working with Design Authority regarding updates to the Matching Tools and Viewer; • Visits continue to DSPs;

Implementation Update - General • Local authorities accredited for connectivity to eCare Framework: • Borders Council – connectivity tested; • Clackmannanshire Council – connectivity tested; • Fife Council – connectivity tested; • Perth & Kinross Council; • Angus Council; • Stirling Council; • Aberdeen City; • East Ayrshire; • North Ayrshire; • Moray accreditation pending; • Connectivity from Health Boards also being progressed; connectivity tested: • NHS Forth Valley; • NHS Fife; • NHS Borders pending; • NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde pending;

  4. Implementation Update - General • DSPs currently in or recently in Test: • Ayrshire & Arran; • Western Isles; • Borders; • Tayside; • Forth Valley;

Implementation Update - General • Adapter implementation engagement underway: • Olm careFirst (testing); • Anite SWIFT (testing); • Corelogic Frameworki (testing); • Appliance (CNS) – entering development stage for phase 2; • Falkirk SW – design stage; • NHS Tayside – design stage; • Orkney PARIS – design stage; • Tynedale (Forms) – design stage; • Appliance (ePex) – design stage; • Capito – design stage;

Implementation Update - DSPs • Ayrshire & Arran: • Already live with subject CPM; • eSSA from NHS A&A FACE to North Ayrshire Council (NAC) in test; • Migration to v1.1.3 in early stages of planning, with NAC due to test the careFirst adapter; • New Data Sharing Manager in post; • Western Isles: • Already live with subject CPM; • eSSA in early stages of planning; • Migration to v1.1.3 in early stages of planning; • Arrangements for project management of technical aspects in place;

Implementation Update - DSPs • Forth Valley – in active implementation for eSSA: • Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Falkirk – already single agency eSSA in SW; • Workshop held 1st October for Falkirk SW adapter – way forward agreed; • Workshop to be held 27th October for Clacks SW adapter – Forms; • Stirling Council at forefront of implementation of Anite SWIFT adapter; • NHS Forth Valley single agency planned to be live via eCART – Dec 2008; • Cross-partner testing commences February 2009; • eSSA data sharing NHS FV/Stirling/Clacks/Potentially Falkirk – Feb/Mar 2009; • Stirling planning to go-live across Community Care; • Tayside: • Positive progress on work with NHS Tayside on their eCare Adapter – design workshop planned for 27th October; • Perth & Kinross and Angus have plans in place to connect their SW systems; • Borders: • Borders Council - initial testing of corelogic frameworki adapter completed; • NHS Borders – design being taken forward for ePex system as part of the Appliance project; • DSM has produced draft paper regarding total cost of ownership locally;

Implementation Update - DSPs • Dumfries and Galloway: • Involvement in Getting It Right For Every Child; • Fife: • SWIFT v23 in test; • Choice of new Education system made; • New Data Sharing Manager in post; • Glasgow & Clyde: • eSSA – taking forward phase 2 of appliance with Community Nursing System; • Pilots to be with West Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire for eSSA; • Grampian: • Aberdeenshire Council plan to be live with eSSA to MAS by Dec 2008; • 2 Design workshops for Capito adapter held – way forward agreed; • New Data Sharing Manager in post;

Implementation Update - DSPs • Highland: • Currently producing a PID for connection of careFirst in Highland Council to the eCare Framework; • Argyll and Bute work deferred to 2009/10; • Defining requirements internally for a system for NHS Highland; • Timescales on DSP data sharing dependent upon NHS solution timescales; • Lothian: • Support given to consent & confidentiality and community care outcomes workshops held by the DSP; • DSM has produced paper around seeking local funding; • Lanarkshire: • Technical meetings continue regarding connection to the eCare Framework; • Shetland: • Plan in place for upgrade to SWIFT v23; • Yet to determine way forward locally regarding Education and Health systems; • Orkney: • Discussions around adapter for PARIS to gather pace from 24th October;
