2. Titles used … • The titles used are presented on screen with a fade in fade or effect and made white to stand out from the black back ground, the more important part of the title is done much larger so it sticks out so its read first. The font of the titles is quite hard to read and seems very old but I think this has been done to make it look more creepy and thrilling. • The sound track behind the titles is of thunder, and gives the whole opening scene spooky uneasy feel because thunder and raining days are seen as a bad thing and in films when bad this happens the weather normally isn’t nice. The volume of the thunder and rain increases when a more important title comes on screen so we notice it more.

3. Mise en scene • The first scene is of a boy who seems to have fallen of a bike but its morning and he in pyjamas so its seems very strange. • The scene is set in the middle of nowhere on a mountain side road with a massive landscape of mountains, this makes you feel like the characters is in the middle of nowhere and if he is in trouble there would be no one near to help. The location also make us wonder why he’s there and how did he get there this adds to the link of thriller genre. • The first scene introduces the character laying on the ground next to a bike, at first you think he's just fallen of the bike but it when he gets up and you notice he’s in pyjamas so it cant of been any normal bike ride. This is also shown through his facial expressions: he gets up looking scared and shocked like he doesn’t know what's going on but then looks around and smiles like its happened before and its normal. This makes us see the character as being very strange and not really what to think of him.

4. The narrative is introduced with a moving shot that almost looks like someone creeping through the bunches to then come across a boy out of no where. At first this camera angle makes you think what every the object in the distance could be in danger or the point of view from the camear could be something dangerous. The setting is an early morning sunrise which clashes with boy in the road because he could be hurt or dead. • the boy seems very alone and confused once he gets up, he look if so he might be hurt and is in a vulnerable state all this together creates a very thrilling atmosphere. The mystery behind what might of happened make people feel uneasy and this is typical for a thriller film.

7. Sound track … • The music's come is when he starts sitting up off the floor and this music is very soft calming so its letting the audience know that he's alright, this contrasted so much with the thunder at the beginning which was portraying danger. The music gets a lot more fast paced and happy when he’s back on his bike riding down the hill this leads into the film well because he's so happy and you know something thrilling will take place. • The only sound effects we hear at the start are of the thunder and rain.
