  1. A user friendly bathroom residential for disable people From research, it is found that the average person uses bathroom six to seven times a day. Disable persons can find it difficult to use a bathroom which consists of a bit slippery tiles and also the showers, taps which are not easy to handle for them because of their disability. To make their day-today activity easy or can we just say accessible to them without any interruption. Bathroom for disabled person , which helps to gain access to facilities which might be different from regular toilets. Like in regular toilets where we consider things like spacing, layout, equipment, flooring, lighting, etc. so from these things removing the disabling barriers and restrictions and making them user friendly for disabled people. The bathroom for disabled person should have an accessible shower, bathtubs, washbasin, shower seat, and toilets specially built for them. The appropriate height of the toilet is also given importance as it may help in standing up and sitting down easier without any help.

  2. Keeping the body clean is one of the main aspects of having good health, also if you're physically and mentally fit then there might no problem in using regular bathrooms. But for disabling person even performing the day-to-day task is very difficult. Bathroom safety is very important for them as it is the most used place in the house, So handicap bathroom residence should be made so that it is safe to use. There may be a problem due to wet floors or bending and lifting required in the tub or shower. So to avoid this we can make use of rolling shower seats of height 17’’ to 19’’ and keep a small stool or chair which can be used while taking bath or curbless shower is another option which is ideal for people using a wheelchair. Walk-in tubs have easy access as it allows a user to walk into the tub without having to climb over the side as in the normal tubs. Another option for a tub bath can be installing tub bars which help in coordinate and control while taking a bath. Among all these installing nonslip floors is of the most important thing which should prevent falls. Other measures or things that are taken care of should be of having anti-scald mixing valves to maintain pressure, temperature, and also volume. Thus by taking care of all these things can help build a Handicap bathroom residential which can be user friendly to the disabled person. Disability can be stated as a physical or mental impairment which has adverse and long term effect on his or her body. Due to this, it is difficult to carry day-to-day activities. Physical disability affects a person’s physical functioning like mobility, dexterity, or stamina. This disability shouldn’t cause any hindrance in their life and have a close support system that doesn’t take pity. Disable people should be encouraged to do his/her work by themselves and so they don’t feel a burden on anyone.
