PROPER SIGHT ALIGNMENT AND SIGHT PICTURES WHEN FIRINGAN M-16/M-4/AR-15 With Standard Iron Sights And An E-Type Silhouette Target
Now imagine that same rear sight aperture with crosshairs perfectly splitting it in half, both vertically and horizontally.
Now, imagine the front sight with a set of crosshairs splitting it perfectly left and right and with the horizontal crosshair sitting exactly on top of the sight post.
Now, superimpose those two images over one another to get what the ideal sight alignment should be.
Of course, when you actually look through the sights, there will be no crosshairs.
Now, imagine a set of crosshairs over your target centered on the point you wish to hit.
Line that image up with the sight alignment you had earlier to get the ideal sight picture.
And of course, again there will actually be no crosshairs when you get your sight picture.
Now you should be able to go out and qualify as an expert marksman.Unless you suck.Which you probably do.Because you’re not an 11B.Or 18 series. The rest can’t shoot.
