Creating your Data Tool • In Infinite Campus, design an ad hoc filter using the following steps: • Go to ad hoc reporting • Filter designer • Create a new filter using the query wizard • Under filter data type select student • Click next • At the top, give your filter a name
Choosing the Information • Under demographics select: last name, first name, grade, gender, active today, end date, homeroom teacher. • Under learner>active learner>state reporting elements select: meal status and gifted and talented. • Under learner>active enrollment>special education elements select: disability 1, special ed. status • Click next
Ad Hoc Report Continued • Under operator and beside student grade choose >= and a value of 03 • Under the data export options place your items in order, i.e., grade, last name, first name, etc. • Now that you have made all of your selections, click test. • You will now be able to see your information and this automatically saves you filter.
Exporting Your Data • Under ad hoc reporting>data export: select the filter you created and choose comma separated values (csv) as your export format. • Select export • You should now see all of your students and the information that you wanted on an excel spreadsheet.
Organizing your Data Tool • Highlight row 1, choose data at the top, and click filter. • Under the heading active enrollment end date, uncheck blanks and click okay. • Delete all students that are shown. • You now have all of the students currently in your building. • Okay now to delete columns: active today and end date.
Entering the MAP Data • Create a column for the beginning of the year RIT scores • You can manually enter scores or copy and paste from the ASGS report. • Create a new column and enter the scores for the winter and spring assessments.
