Drinking Is Dangerous {Facts} • Almost 14 million people in the United States-1 in every 13 adults abuse alcohol and\or are an alcoholic. • Everyday more then 700,000 people receive treatment for alcohol abuse just in the U.S. • 40% of children who start drinking at the age of 15 become an alcoholic at some point in their lives! • A DUI can cost $8,000 to $9,000.

  3. Don’t drink!!!! Problems with drinking • Drinking can lead to death • Drinking can lead to unhappiness or depression • Drinking to much can lead to addiction • Drinking can cause you to lose friends and $Money$

Chris’ problems with drinking • Polly tells on him because she is worried about him • Chris feels alone all the time • When Chris starts to like the taste of beer • Because of Chris’ drinking problem he starts to lose his friends and girl friends • Chris has to steal beer from his aunt because he can’t buy it {no money and not old enough}

  5. Ways Chris hurt people!!!! • Chris hurt Polly • Chris hurt Aunt Catherine • Chris hurt his friends and team members

  6. Are you a alcoholic? • When a person likes the taste of beer that is a sign • You put in a substitute bottle. • A person that likes to drink will wake up in the morning to drink! • An alcoholic will drink to wake up in the morning.
