Technology FIRST Team #933 - Trigos • 2002 (13 students) • Regional Competition - St. Louis – Finals, Leadership in Controls award • National Competition - Orlando – middle of the pack • - 2003 (22 students) • Regional Competition - Evanston – middle of the pack • National Competition - Houston - 6th of 75 • 2004 (17 students) • Regional Competition - St. Louis – Finals (10th of 52), EngineeringInspiration award • National Competition - Atlanta - middle of the pack • Team 933 students established FIRST Lego League team • Studentsmentoring team of 5th-8th graders • Seeding three other high school teams in Rock River Valley • 10-week Robotics Prep Course in fall

Challenges • Convincing Non Members to Become Member • Elevation to Senior Members, need focused attention • Finding More volunteers for school and pre-collage activities
RRVS Goals for Next Year • More activities for PACE - Provide Science & Technology Training to Students – Support US FIRST Team - Continue work for increased awareness among engineers for political events effecting engineers • Invite at least one Distinguished Speaker for Each of the Society Chapter • Grow activities for GOLD Affinity Group • Form Student Branch at the Rock River Valley College – Need to sign up at least 20 student members !
RRVS Goals for Next 5 Years • Increase membership & Encourage Diverse Membership (270 to 300) • WIE Affinity Group
