Hitler’s Education Hitler did not do particularly well at school, leaving formal education in 1905. Unable to settle into a regular job, he drifted. He wished to become an artist but was rejected from the academy in Vienna. At Primary school, Hitler showed great intellectual potential and was extremely popular with fellow pupils as well as being admired for his leadership qualities.
Hitler Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889 in the small Austrian town of Braunau to Alois Hitler who later became a senior customs official and his wife Klara, who was from a poor peasant family.
Air Raids (Blitz) The Blitz is the title given to the German bombing campaign on British cities during WWII. However, the term ‘Blitz’ is more commonly used for the bombing campaign against London. After the failure of the Battle Britain, the Germans attempted to bomb London into submission-a tactic used again with the V weapons campaign in 1944-45.
Hitler’s Plans Hitler’s plans were: *Restore Germany to a powerful nation *Revenge the Versailles treaty that ended WWI. *Become absolute ruler of the world through military expansion. *Get rid of everyone that wasn’t blond and blue eyed (Ayran)
