  2. 2011 CTCN Leadership Team • Election held Nov 2010 • http://ewh.ieee.org/r5/central_texas/cn/

CTCN 2010 Chapter Updates • Held officer planning meeting every month. • Conducted Consultants Workshop in April and made a small profit. • Recruited good speakers on various topics for eleven months till Nov. • Attendees averaged 20 per month, 20% down from 2009. 45% non-members and lots of no repeat visit.

  4. 2010 CTCN Chapter Meetings4th Wednesday of the month, all reported L31

CTCN Chapter Plans / Issues • Strengths - Diversified members, Good team work; able to network and recruit speakers; attracted new attendees when we have the right topics. • Weaknesses – Aging membership. Certain topics may not have wide appeal, not enough repeated attendees to become new members. • Opportunities – Recruit form other local network groups, Partner with other group to do joint event. • Threats – Poor sound and facility for the aging member. In need of available or younger members for future leadership team.

  6. CTCN 2011 Plan • Host third workshop for Membership recruitment. Looking for partner. • Recruit good speakers and offer better topics in professional development, technical training and support services. • Recruit new member and grow future leadership teams.

  7. CTCN 2011 Program Plan • Focus on professional development and service and latest technical topics • Planned so far • Jan – Slideware Simplified for Technologists • Feb - Future of Internet • March – Multimedia Engine • June - Third Consultants Workshop
