Genesis • Joe Fletcher, Traffic Signal Systems Manager, identified a need to build a facility to serve the County’s current and future transportation management functions. This vision was pursued by combining different funding sources. • Provide a dedicated resource to replace the existing one-room facility to serve the County’s transportation needs for the next 20 years

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) • Decision made by Chairman to Pursue LEED Certification • Silver Certification Targeted • Construction Waste Diversion • Recycled Materials • No Irrigation/Low Maintenance Landscaping • Reduction in Water Use • Waterless Urinals • Low-Flow Fixtures • ETC.
