STRATEGIC APPROACH TO TRAINING MAP 2017 • Internal consultations conducted and priorities recognised in advance: based on Progress Reports 2016 and advise from EUD and line DGs - improved guidelines and support to beneficiary in preparation of maps • Aim is to provide TAIEX support where most needed and beneficial in order to streamline with other EU assistance • Combined with demand-driven: additional priorities recognized by beneficiary welcomed, including individual requests not included in the maps if need arises • Real pre-approval for SANTE and MARE events: no repetition of consultation process – precondition is good quality of requests

  8. 15 recognised priorities x up to 3 events = 45 possible events • 2 additional priorities if needed = up to next 30 events • Take into account absorption capacity when planning events • Provide all needed information in the template and when submitting the application form – the more, the better • In the application form – always mention that it comes from the map
