  4. Officials • The Rules are enforced by officials who use them as guidelines to ensure safe play with maximum advantage within the code of the game. • They rules are also a reference point when more serious disciplinary actions have to be taken TJ Clare, April 2010

  5. Players • The rules of the games allow players to excel within the code following the rules to attain maximum advantage. • The rules of the game are there to protect the players from both teams TJ Clare, April 2010
