Introduction • The purpose of the study was to survey the consumers perspective of high-quality health care. • Participants of the study indicate the importance of nurses being up-to-date and well informed; communication with patients on illnesses, medications, treatments and how to stay healthy live longer, time to review patients needs. • The study concludes all patients with any level of income should be taught about health issues that pertain to them (Oermann & Templin, 2000).
