Everything has a reason and a story behind it, so,the, jewellery has! In ancient times, when the kings and their soldiers used to go on a war, they find the women at their homes unsafe. So, the men decided to lock their women in chains. But the chains had affected the beauty of women. Also, it was painful to be in chains for several days until the war ends. Thus, men with their intelligence created something beautiful and termed it as “JEWELLERY”.

Not only this, the art of creating jewellery enriched the status of individuals in those ancient times.
After a few years, jewellery became popular among the women of all ages and was used to be worn at workplace, functions, events or any special occasion. Women started to wear jewellery to add charm to their attire. The different types of jewellery covered the market area with the amazing collection of Kundan jewellery, Jadau, Gold & Silver, handmade and the never-ending collection of artificial jewellery. Trends in jewellery were not only limited to women, it was appreciated by men, children, and adults also. As I discussed, jewellery was used as a status symbol; kings, warriors, individuals who have high standards considered wearing jewellery as their pride. Their jewellery consists of swords, rings, pendants, bracelets etc. With the high demands of jewellery in the market, jewelers opened up their retail and wholesale shops. There was a wide variety of alluring and attractive jewellery that was bought and sold in the market at the beginning of the 19th century.
Jewellery got more popularity when the internet influenced the lives of people. Jewelers who were selling their products offline, created their e-commerce websites so that women can buy female rings, male ornaments and anything they would like to have in their wardrobe. Through simple clicks, it became easier to get the desired jewellery piece from online at affordable prices. To conclude, I would like to say that jewellery is something that never goes out of trend; it was and it will be praised by everyone. You can’t deny the fact that you look amazing whenever you wear a jewellery piece. Source : https://arethajewels.wordpress.com/2018/07/12/jewellery-something- that-never-goes-out-of-trend/
