  5. EXTERNAL JUGULAR VEIN • Situated in the roof of the posterior triangle between platysma and investing layer of deep cervical fasciae.

  6. Termination: it terminates behind the clavicle into the subclavian vein. Relations: superficial- skin, superficial fasciae and Platysma. Deep relations: investing layer. Valves- has two valves one at the termination another at 4cms above the terminations. Between the valves dilatations called sinus of external jugular vein.
