Photo ID certificates and online registration Why, when and how?
Why • A central, auditable record of people who hold certificates that could be used for commercial qualifications or ICCs. • A more professional, attractive certificate for your students. • Better tracking to enable lost certificates to be re-issued.
When • From 31 March 2013 no more paper certificates may be issued. • Old stock must be securely destroyed or returned to the RYA. • From 1 April 2013, only photo ID certificates may be issued and must be registered online.
How • First time only:www.rya.org.uk/go/register • Reference number and activation code available from RYA Training • Set yourself a unique email address and password
Replacing lost certificates Only replace certificates that you issued originally.
