Batangas Container Terminal (BCT) • 12 hectare terminal facility with a 7 hectare container yard. • -13m. draft alongside berth. • Annual throughput capacity of approx. 350,000 TEUs / 352 reefer plugs in the yard • Expandable yard capacity within the port zone as needed. • Full complement of Quay and land side equipment (Quay crane/RTG/ITV) • Complete terminal services which include stevedoring(vessel), arrastre (CY), storage and stripping/stuffing for both International and Domestic containers. • Value added services such as ship’s husbanding as support for shipping lines using the Batangas Container Terminal. • Fast response time by BOC Batangas on container release processing. • Off dock logistics support such as trucking and M&R through the ATI ICD at Laguna. • Ease of access from CALABARZON, on full 24/7.

MYTHS ABOUT BATANGAS • Existence of a trucking Mafia - none; any trucker from anywhere can ply Batangas for as long as a permit-to-operate is secured; easy process – No containers/trucks have been burned to the ground, and nothing like this will ever happen • Uncooperative BOC ; on the contrary, in BOC’s thrust to increase volumes, we have a Batangas BOC that is easily approachable and is “all-ears” • Security issues / problems - none – Batangas has catered and continues to cater to high-value shipments; not once has there been a hijacking incident nor a security concern that has arisen • Batangas as an “alternative” port – it is not an alternative port, the direction is for Batangas to be one of the main ports that would be an impetus for increased efficiency and improved productivity through “balance”
