CPWP has the vision of a Cambodian society in which women and men enjoy equal access to opportunity and benefits from society CPWP Members Mrs. Thida Khus To promote women and men equal participation in decision making and representation in public office; Mrs. Ros Sopheap H.E Chou BunEng To collaborate with each other in developing and implementing joint activities to further the advancement of women in Cambodian society. CPWP’s Strategy Five components: • Set up the women network at the grassroots level • Public Forum : Social Development and Women in Decision Making • Training of Women Candidates/training of women counselors and women activists • Work with indigenous/minority groups • Media Advocacy and Lobbying at the national level and local level

  4. Media and Lobbying Advocacy • Develop materials and messages • Develop radio/TV spots and broadcasting in target provinces and city • Speak in different radio programs in the NGOs program • Organize round table discussions in Radio and TV • Post activities on webpage • Drama plays at the provincial and local levels • Lobbying activities with the high officials: • Lobbying at the provincial, district of parties representatives;

  7. Advocacy to the National level by Women Commune Councilors CPWP brought 300 women commune councilors from all the provinces to build their capacity and express their voice and feeling to their own political parties and NA 7 Committee to Promote Women in Politics
