  1. AFL Global Today, more and more companies are using Cloud computing to provide services and products to their customers. The Cloud offers businesses a more cost effective method of delivering Software (SaaS), Infrastructure (IaaS), and Platforms (PaaS) by using shared resources to allow global and easy access. “Enabling the Cloud” The Cloud depends on a system of multitudes of computers interconnected by fiber optic networks. AFL’s Test & Inspection Division provides the equipment necessary to test, validate, and certify these fiber networks. The fiber testing methodologies will be discussed.
