Hades and Persephone. Persephone was laying in a meadow. Hades took Persephone . Demeter, Persephone’s mom was sad too. She stopped tending to her crops. . The people of earth grew hungry and prayed to the gods. Zeus made Hades return Persephone. . Zeus came up with a compromise.

  7. This is why seasons change. When Persephone is with Hades it is winter.

  8. When it is spring she is with her mother.
