A: 12-bit or 16-bit (24-bit is under development) Q: What is FIFO size on your DAQ card? A: 512, 1024, 4096, 8192, 32768 samples Q: What kind of Trigger function you support? A: We support both analog and digital trigger.

  24. Questions Customers may ask… For AIO Q: Can I measure current using your card? A: Most DAQ card can accept voltage only. 1. USB-4718can measure current directly. (sampling rate is 10 Sample/second) 2. If you don’t want to use USB, or the speed is not enough, Another 2 ways (to transfer current to voltage) (1) add resistoron terminal blocks (2) use Advantech ADAM-3014 Q: Can I start AI and AO at the same time? A: Yes, most Advantech DAQ card can support this.

  25. Questions Customers may ask… For DIO Q: Can your DI connect to Sink/Source? A: Yes, Sink and Source are both supported for DI Q: Can your DO connect to Sink (NPN) or Source (PNP)? A: Our DO only support Sink (NPN) type Q: My DIO signal is 12V, can I use your isolated DIO card? A: Yes. Our Isolated DIO logic high level minimum is 5 V Q: Do you support Interrupt function for DI? A: Yes, most our DIO cards support interrupt.

A: TTL DIO < 2 μs = 0.000002 Isolated DIO < 20 μs = 0.00002 s Q: For DIO card, can I set each channel with different direction (input or output)? A: The basic unit to configure input/output is port (8 channels). You can configure each port as input/output. But the direction of all channels in one port need to be the same. Q: Does your DIO card support Dry Contact? A: Yes, most of our DIO cards support dry contact wiring.

  27. Questions Customers may ask… For Software Q: What programming language do you support? A: We support C, C++, C#, VB.NET, VB, Delphi, Java, Qt, Matlab (Mathworks, not Simulink) and LabVIEW. Q: Do you support LabVIEW? A: Yes, we support both Express VI and Polymorphic VIs. Q: Do you support Matlab? A: We support Mathworks only (not Simulink)

  28. Questions Customers may ask… For Software Q: Can I use other SCADA software with your DAQ HW? A: If your SCADA software can support Modbus communication protocol, we provide a Modbus server. (Currently only support DIO function) Q: I don’t want to write any program, can I use your HW? A: We have one software called Data Logger. If its functionality can satisfy you, you can simply use this software directly (without any programming)

  29. Questions Customers may ask… For Accessory Q: Can I use cable or terminal block from other company? A: Yes, we provide pin-assignment information. So you can use your or third-party cable/terminal block. But, we suggest us because we will guarantee it. Q: Do you provide shieldedcable? A: Yes, we provide SCSI cable which is shielded.
