Tobacco as a Risk Factor • 1,400 Montanans die of tobacco-related • disease each year – more than from any other • preventable cause • About 16% of Montanans still smoke • About 39% of high school students have tried • smoking • About 19% of mothers smoke during • pregnancy Lewis & Clark City-County HEALTH DEPARTMENT
