Johnny Morris is founder and CEO. • Started building aluminum packages in 1978 and V-hull aluminum boats in 1987 • Market and sell products through company stores (Bass Pro Shops), as well as competing dealerships • Nationally advertised prices on all boats are set by corporate • Boats are generally welded with interior stringer subsystem • Smoker Craft is an aluminum boat brand of Smoker Craft, Inc. which is family owned by the Schrock and Smoker families. • Started building aluminum boats in 1963 with roots back to 1903. • Market and sell products through independent boat dealers worldwide. • Allow dealerships to set their own retail prices based on their market • Boats are generally riveted rib and keel construction

Tracker Welded Hull Problems • Hardened aluminum from the extreme heat of welding becomes weak on either side of the weld and can crack from the weight and vibration of the motor on the transom and the beating of the waves on the bottom and in the bow if not properly supported. • Welded infrastructure can completely break loose under the floor cracking the bottom plate of aluminum and sometimes pulling the welds completely through the bottom. • Tack welds inside the hull can often be seen on the outside of the hull and these welds sometimes break along their length or at the corners. The welded pieces would be stronger if welded completely instead of tacked as a tack weld allows for more flex which stresses it more. • Welded hull repairs are often more costly and may result in full hull replacements.
