The City of AustinSmall & Minority Business Resources Certification 101 Tuesday, May 27, 2013 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. One Texas Center 505 Barton Springs Road, 3rd Floor, Room 325 (Intersection of South First and Barton Springs Road) This workshop is the perfect opportunity to: • Find out about the Minority-Owned Business Enterprise, Women Owned Business Enterprise, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certifications offered by the City of Austin (MBE, WBE, DBE and SBE) • Work with The City of Austin Vendor Registration Department to add or update company information on the vendor registration system

  2. Certification Types Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) is a certification program offered by the State of Texas. The State of Texas accepts City of Austin certified vendors as candidates for HUB certification for qualified applicants.
