  3. This class is geared to provide support to students who are in inclusion classes for core subjects (Math, English Language Arts). Get 1:1 help from me or a peer Start or finish a test started in class (in Learning Lab) Get tutoring in a subject area Learn study skills (lab days) Inclusion Support

  5. Organization – having a neat system for current courses • Independent & Guided Practice • Time On-task • Study Skills Labs Updated daily by 3pm! Date shown in School Loop is the DUE date. Grade for this class:

  6. Mondays – Thursdays: • Take out planner& today’s homework or a book • Work quietly at your desk, or with permission in small group, or 1:1 with me • Go to Learning Lab to check grades, type essay, do research, find info for planner Fridays: Get composition notebook Prepare to take notes and participate in discussion Finish assessments in Learning Lab Students should have reduced or no homework when they get home A Typical Day

  7. Monday – predictions, homework, independent practice Tuesday– 1:1 or small group Math help as needed Wednesday - 1:1 or small group Eng help as needed Thursday – quiz reviews, planner & grade checks Friday – Study skills lesson Estimated Weekly Schedule

  9. Located on the northern side of the Library building – Lib 4 Mrs. Reba Open before school PCs, supplies, internet available for student use Take tests here if needed: extended time, smaller/quieter work environment, open-notes (per IEP), etc Learning Lab

This Class: Planner, Composition Notebook, Book/Magazine, Writing Utensil • Algebra: Folder/Section in 3-ring Binder, pencils, erasers, scientific calculator • English 9: spiral notebook, pens, pencil, flash drive, Franklin Speller/dictionary, note-taking pen, carbon-copy paper Materials Needed for this class, Algebra 1, and English 9
