  1. 5 Day Summer STEM Day Camp for Local High School Students

Savannah Engineering Academy • 5 day summer STEM day camp for 30+ rising high school juniors and seniors from public schools, private schools, and home schools • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization • Completely run by volunteers who are engineers working as professionals in the local area • Supported by Professional Organizations, Educational Institutions, and Businesses • Hosted at Armstrong State University and the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography

Savannah Engineering Academy • Students must have grades of 80% or better in math/science/engineering/tech courses and provide a teacher recommendation to apply • Only cost to students: $60 registration fee • Students learn about different disciplines of engineering through hands-on activities, field trips, and site visits

Savannah Engineering Academy COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS • Starting in 2016, the Savannah Engineering Academy will offer college scholarships to past participants who are accepted and enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program • Scholarships will be offered through the Georgia Engineering Foundation • Two $1,500 Scholarships will be offered in 2016
