  7. Alligator Attributes • intellectual • independent • philosophical • perfectionists • standard setter • visionary • Cool • work is play

  8. Deer Attributes • mediators • optimistic • passionate • has a kind word • sensitive to the needs of others • encourage others • cooperative rather than competitive

  9. The downfalls of Lions! • rudeness and defiance • breaking rules intentionally • running away and dropping out

  10. The downfalls of Eagles! • attention-getting behavior • withdrawal • passive resistance

  11. The downfalls of Alligators! • refusal to comply or cooperate • refusal to communicate; the silent treatment • perfectionism due to severe performance anxiety

  12. The downfalls of Deers! • complaining and self-pity • anxiety and worry • depression and fatigue

  13. Having success with Lions! • remember to be on time • try to be extra organized and efficient • they are generous but like things returned • be dependable, loyal • respect their need for security

  15. Having success with Alligators! • be aware of their curiosity about life • respect their need for independence • respect their inventions and ideas • give them time to process information

  16. Having success with Deers ! • be aware they wear their heart on their sleeve • listen to them as they listen to you • share your thoughts and feelings • praise their imagination and creativity
