  1. Data Exchange DRITWG September 11, 2008 Robert B. Burke Principal Analyst – Demand Resource Department

  2. Data Transfer • This presentation discusses the type of information to be supplied • This presentation does not make any assumptions about what medium is used to supply that data • Submission of real-time meter data and submission of settlement meter data may be through different medium

  3. Asset Baseline • Presently IBCS Providers receive individual customer baselines each morning • In the future, ISO would continue to calculate and supply DDE with customer baselines each morning

  4. Types of Data Supplied • Presently IBCS OS supplies the following data to each IBCS Provider on a daily basis • Registration Data • Asset ID • Asset Name • Metering type • Program • Load Zone • Block ID • Max Cap • Status (active, building baseline, ready-to-respond, retired) • Enrolling Participant • Meter Data • Date of information • Last Internal submitted • Date and Time • Interval and Zero count

  5. New Data Requirement • In the future, DDEs will need to be supplied with the following data on a daily basis: • Registration Data • Asset ID • Asset Name • Resource ID • Resource Name • Asset/ Resource relationship • Status (active, building baseline, ready-to-respond, retired) • Dispatch Zone • Load Zone • Enrolling Participant • Meter Data • tbd

  6. Source Of Data • The origin of asset/resource data must continue to be the ISO • DDEs should expect to update their databases from this information each day • DDEs should not make changes to this information on their own

  7. For Discussion • Since facilities are aggregated together to create an asset, would facility information be valuable? • If settlement meter data submission is separate from real-time data, would notification that file upload was successful be sufficient to know that ISO has meter data? • If complete asset/resource data were provided on 1st of month, would daily changes only be better than daily complete data?
