  2. Business Description TGOD Shoes just recently opened up one month ago but is having trouble with advertising. Brand New Shoes that suits anybody. My business is a store along side American Airlines Arena. This is a good location because, a lot of people will walk by our store and will hopefully come take a look around and buy our products.

  3. The Industry • We’re selling new basketball shoes. • This Industry is doing really good, • It’s a good industry to get into because, I’ll be selling my products for less so I can save people money, while making a good bit of money.

  4. Target Market • My typical customer would likely be a teen. • My customers’ might be Athletes or young, • I expect about 75 customers a day. • I plan to have good service, better value, lots of sales and good prices.

  5. Competition • Our major competitors are EST shoes, Dicks Sporting Goods, Foot Locker and Hibbits. • We have an advantage because, we have an excellent location and better prices and value. • We have disadvantage because, we won’t be as well advertised as other major businesses.

  6. Market Strategy • We will get people to buy our products by cheap prices, way better value, and lots of sale pros. • We will sale our shoes for half of what other major competitors sale their products. • I plan to maintain an adequate inventory by bringing new shipments of products.

  7. Management / Personnel • In order to start my business I’ll need about 5 employees . - 1 cashier - 1 manager - 3 people to help • My job is to advertise our store, bring in new shipments . • I will find employees by looking at their college degrees and their abilities first hand. • I will pay employees between 12 and 18 dollars an hour based on their quality of work.

  8. Why I need the Loan? • I’ll need a couple thousand dollars to start. • I need the loan for merchandise, to pay the loan and employees and advertising.
