  3. Hostel Alumni Teams StewardshipHaTs Goal • To strengthen the alumni bond with their hostels. • To develop processes to make it easier for alumni to help their hostels. • To create & support core teams for each hostel

  4. Hostel Alumni Teams StewardshipHaTs Structure HaTs is made up of volunteers from all hostels HaTs and works closely with IITB-HF, IITB-AA & IITB

Hostel Alumni Teams StewardshipHaTs leverages from H7 effort… • H7 core team formed in 1Q06 • H-7 Alumni: • Hemant Patel • Suhas Pai • Kumar Vora • Milind Gokhale, AA-CEO • Batch coordinators • H-7 IITB: • Student Rep (GSec): • Naween Anand (2007) • Anshul Laad (2006) • Dheeraj Sarwaiya (2005) • Hall Manager: Gopi • Warden: Prof. R. Raman • Mess Workers’ Incentives (started ’06-’07) • Seniority awards (Rs25K to 14 of 25) • Tuition reimbursement for college students (80% for 14) • Student interaction (planned for ’07-’08) • Incentives for participation in hostel activities • “Adopt a room” • Alumni Mentoring • Facilities improvement not covered by institute funds H7 Core team ~100 alumni have contributed ~$40K.
