Lactose intolerance is that which affects people of all ages. It occurs when the body does not produce enough of the enzyme lactase, which is needed to digest lactose, the sugar found in milk. Symptoms of this intolerance are bloating, gas, diarrhea, and cramps. There are several ways to diagnose lactose intolerance, including a Dairy Intolerance Test or a blood test. If you are lactose intolerant, there are many ways to manage your condition, such as eating smaller amounts of dairy products, choosing lactose-free dairy products, or taking lactase supplements.

  1. Dairy Intolerance Test: What You Need to Know If you experience symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, or cramps after eating dairy products, you may have lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerance is a condition in which your body doesn't produce enough of the enzyme lactase, which is needed to digest lactose, the sugar found in milk. There are a number of ways for lactose, dairy intolerance test. The most common tests are: Hydrogen breath test: This test measures the amount of hydrogen gas in your breath after you drink a liquid containing lactose. If you have lactose intolerance, you will produce more hydrogen gas than someone without lactose intolerance. Blood test: This test measures the amount of glucose in your blood after you drink a liquid containing lactose. If you have lactose intolerance, your blood glucose level will not rise as much as someone without lactose intolerance.
