  8. User Accounts • User Accounts personalize the desktop and startup functions • User Accounts create directories for stored files like word documents and pictures

  10. Selective Startup • The “msconfig” command will open a customization window • Selective Startup allows for the user to choose which programs will begin on startup • Conserving processor power and memory

  11. Files and Folders • Files are stored within folders • Files are the smallest element and they fit inside folders • Files and folders can be customized in a variety of different ways: • Naming • Color identification (Mac) • Etc.
