Retention Q2 Recap Analytics Toolset - Working with eBay on testing of MyComputer tools - Identifying and tagging pages to be tracked - Defining reporting requirements of departments - Reviewing other solutions (in-house/3rd party) - Identifying how data warehouse will interact - Analytics component on project plan
Retention Q2 Recap Net Perceptions - Working with Net P to map out deployment timing - Half tech team is testing Net P on item detail pages (this is the most intricate deployment for NetP to date due to our volume and the necessity to identify products that are recommended AND in-stock at Half) - Anticipating deployment in the coming weeks - Team is also planning strategy to deploy reporting and recommendation center components - Net P enhancements/additions on project plan
Retention Q2 Recap Email Management - Testing more frequently deployed emails - Testing product specific vs. promotional emails (e.g. DVD Blowout vs. Father’s Day – Product based emails perform at a 5 to 1 ration in GMS dollars!) - Working with Inventory to plan product based emails - Email Management tool has FRD and on project plan - Opt in component part of this management tool
Retention Q2 Recap Storefronts - Working with Inventory to identify needed features - Due to competitive changes model is being reviewed - Reviewing possible synergies with other projects (e.g. feature seller gallery, eBay stores, etc.) - Stores has FRD and is on project plan
Retention Q2 Recap Textbooks - Building textbook inventory with new sellers (currently over 5 million textbooks have been added to Half) - Reviewing functionality for shipping and communication (it is essential that students get the exact book fast to eliminate returns) - Full promotional campaign is being planned - Textbook project has FRD and is on project plan
